Skin redness may be due to different reasons. It could be rosacea, acne, flushing, sun damage, or just plain irritation.

But what can you do to reduce the redness? There are several things you can do to take care of your skin.

Facials & Skin Care: Dry skin can make your skin vulnerable to irritants, which worsens the problem. There are facials specifically designed to reduce redness. Choose moisturizers with phospholipids and hyaluronic acid for plumping up the skin and calming down redness. Hyaluronic acid can hold up to one thousand times its weight in water. Just think how moisturized your skin will be.

Redness Cancelling Colours: Concealers that have a yellow or green tint can cancel redness. Make sure your foundation has a yellow base to help further even out your skin tone for a flawless look.

Foods & Spices: Certain food and spices can help in reducing redness. Cucumber, ginger, licorice root extract, rose extract, turmeric and white tea extract are all excellent for fighting redness and boosting the skin’s resistance to irritation.
